About Lilyfield Cakes
Our founder, Heather Stewart, started Lilyfield Cakes in 2001. With a love, and flair, for entertaining, and a hatbox full of inspirational recipes and ideas, she set out to create a celebration for the senses that she could share with others.
Heather spent a year meticulously refining the delicious cake recipes to get just the right mix of fresh, local ingredients. Her family and friends happily taste-tested them all, cake after cake, until she perfected the flavours as well as the unique shape that would enable her to place a fresh blossom in the center of each baked treasure. From there, she created beautiful, handcrafted gift boxes for the cakes, tying each one up with an elegant ribbon.
Today, Lilyfield Cakes are cherished the world over. Food critics rave and we’ve even caught the attention of Hollywood celebrities. But the most important things remain the same: we use only real, whole ingredients. No preservatives, no dyes, and no mixes. Ever. And we continue to bake our cakes in small batches to ensure every single Lilyfield Cake is baked to perfection. Our customers expect, and deserve, nothing less.
